The Elemental Arts of Life is an expanding idea to return back to the basics, through art. Throughout time, a single thread has been woven through countless continents and cultures, connecting lineages of people who have long been thought to be vastly different. This thread is creation. It contains music, art, culture, the elements, the earth, and life itself. With today's ease of access to information, it is easier to find more similarities of the people of the Earth than it is to find differences. The idea here at Ele-mental is to have the old meet the new, ancient meets modern, the Lascaux cave paintings meets the 60s psychedelia movement, Egyptian hieroglyphics meets Polynesian tribal, bluegrass infused with hip-hop, Macchu Picchu meets the vast farmlands of Pennsylvania.
Everything is energetically connected. We are the brothers and sisters of the Chimu people of Peru, the Pazyryk people of Siberia, the Inuits of the Arctic, and Aborigines in the Australian Outback. We breathe the same air as these ancient peoples, drink the same water, climb the same mountains, sail the same oceans, and plant our seeds in the same Earth. If we can re-learn the ways of care-taking for the land, water, animals, and ourselves in the same ways as our indigenous ancestors, by focusing our knowledge and energy on these art forms, we can fully and completely rebalance the heath of our people and our planet.
Thank you for taking interest in Ele-mental Artworks! Join us along this adventure as we continue to grow and develop our vision.
The world of Art is the one constant in human life throughout history. Countless languages have been spoken. Many fights have been fought over these different languages. But there is one common language. One that is the expression of every culture. Timeless. Diverse. Interconnected. Rich. Beautiful. Art.
These arts of human culture, are what made indigenous daily life so rich and filled with meaning. They connected people to the land and creation. To the people, it was 'life'. But today we find ourselves in a very different situation, to say the least. We have to relearn these ancestral Arts of Life. The Arts of Life are: Fine Arts, Body Arts, Culinary Arts, Music Arts, and the Survival Arts. Each of these art forms are co-related to each of the 5 elemental energies of this planet. These are: Water, Earth, Fire, Wood, and Metal.
